Working in Canada

Canada offers opportunities for health professionals to immigrate and work in Canada, or work on a temporary visa basis.  In general, health professionals must first have their education and professional credentials assessed and then deemed eligible to work in that profession in Canada by the relevant government agency in Canada (there are different agencies for different professions across all states or provinces).  Health professionals can have their credentials assessed either when they are in Canada, or from the country of origin, so this process can be completed before seeking employment in Canada.
