Aged Care Senior Quality Assessor

Our client is seeking Senior Quality Assessors for a 12 month casual placement, 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, working in an accreditation/quality role.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

The role involves assessing and reviewing aged care services against the standards and reporting on their performance. Note that Home Services, Aged Care and Aged Care management experience is ideal.

The role is based in Box Hill however the position requires extensive travel across Melbourne & rural areas visiting sites to conduct audits. Travel, food allowances and a laptop are provided.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• STRONG inter-personal skills
• EXCELLENT written and verbal communication skills
• HIGH Ability to understand and apply knowledge of relevant standards and legislation
• Experience in management is preferable
• A current Victorian driver's license
• Rights to work in Australia
• National Criminal Record Check
• Evidence of seasonal influenza vaccination
• Experience preferable in regulatory, quality, audit or compliance roles
• Clinical and/or Government experience is highly favourable (specific to Aged Care)
• Registration as a quality surveyor (this course will be provided to successful applicants)

Successful candidates will be given weeks of paid training. 1 week of this training will be completing the quality surveyor training program that is internationally accredited, leading to registration as a Quality Assessor.
