Allied Health Assistant (Qualified)

About the Role
This position is responsible for assisting the Allied Health team in providing high quality management of patients, in particular patients requiring nutrition, dysphagia and communication management. This role will also take a lead in timetabling and support portering for pts to attend therapy sessions.

  • Ascertain the appropriate information regarding the patient from the supervising clinician and implement treatment as directed by clinicians
  • Accurate treatment monitoring and evaluation of patients programs and conditions
  • Report back to the supervising clinicians regarding patient’s progress


Classifications for this position is TC1 ($57,777 per annum).

Your Contribution

  • Accredited Allied Health Assistant’s Course Certificate 3 or equivalent
  • A degree in Human Movement, Exercise Physiology, Physical Education
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Willingness to undertake a broad range of patient and non-patient related tasks
