Allied Health Manager - Community Rehabilitation

About the opportunity

We are a community based organisation providing home care and NDIS based Allied Health services across Sydney. We are expanding our services and seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our management team, to inspire and lead our multidisciplinary Allied Health Team. Our vision is to provide innovative, flexible and high quality support for our clients to ensure they receive the support services to continue working toward their rehabilitation goals.

As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are now looking for an Allied Health Manager who can contribute to our strategic direction and continue to grow our Allied Health services.

You will have a substantial clinical background in either occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy or psychology with a demonstrated history leading a high performing team. Your role will be to ensure your team enhance the clinical benefits to our clients whilst maximizing financial incentives to the organisation.

Some of the key responsibilities include;

• Managing our Allied Health Services from an operational financial and human resource perspective
• Recruiting the best talent to expand our services
• Maximise organisational effectiveness by leading the delivery of high quality, connected and goal orientated care
• Promoting an engaging and collaborative work environment
• Applying high level clinical knowledge and skills to deliver high level culturally safe services
• Management and operational supervision of clinicians
• Significantly contributing to team and business development, growth and training
• Building relationships and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to increase referrals and seek feedback.
• Liaising and communicating key information and team performance with Senior Management
• You will be required to undertake some interstate travel

As the Allied Health Manager, you have:

• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Extensive clinical experience as an Allied Health professional with an understanding and knowledge of contemporary practice,
• Management and operational experience
• Current registration with AHPRA/Professional Regulatory Body
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• The drive and passion to improve the quality of life for our clients
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-level clinical and operational advice to a broad range of key stakeholders on professional standards and service development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change through quality and service improvement activities and to provide strategic direction.
• Own car and clean drivers licence
