Centre Leader

GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Centre Leader who will be responsible for the leadership and management of our established Oncology Centre, located in Rockhampton Hospital, QLD to join us on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the key focus of this position is to facilitate the delivery of high quality patient centred services through managing Centre operations and leadership of the teams, in accordance with best practice indicators in patient care, safety, people and financial management.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage and contribute to a quality patient experience at the centre.
  • Manage and deliver on all financial indicators.
  • Drive a dynamic and innovative culture within the team where individuals inspire each other to continuously deliver exceptional outcomes and care for our patients.
  • Positively influence a culture of continuous improvement by partnering with key stakeholders and building effective relationships across the business.
  • Support Doctors and Referrer Engagement team to build key local relationships, to drive clinical activity, volume and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop talent and build high performing team and employee engagement.
  • Lead change initiatives to drive culture, quality, efficiency and access, taking on a leadership role within projects where required.
Who you are:
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, particularly with senior clinical staff.
  • Demonstrated acumen in people and process change management and implementing process improvements.
  • Proven ability to manage cross functional multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Previous oncology or healthcare experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity to successfully perform in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and time manage in a demanding environment and consistently role model our vision and values.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with strong experience in liaising, influencing and negotiating with staff at all levels of the organisation.
  • Graduate level qualifications in a relevant area either Health Care or business related.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Health Care standards, and relevant legislation.
