Clinical Nurse Educator

Altura Learning (previously known as the Aged Care Channel/ACC) is Australia's premier producer of learning media for the social care sector. Predominantly for residential aged care and home care, our content is distributed to more than 200,000 learners across Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and the UKs.

In a supportive and fast-past environment, you will call on your clinical and learning development experience to shape high quality video content and supporting written resources. This is a unique role as part of a Sydney-based team.

You will:
  • Research topics to create thorough content briefs for our production team
  • Work with our production team during briefings and script writing, to bring the content to life
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts for each course
  • Prepare props and documents for our video shoots
  • Consult during video shoots to ensure all footage meets best practice industry standards
  • Review video edits
  • Create learning resources our courses, based on our templates
  • Review and proof learning resources and upload to our learning management system
You will meet the following criteria:
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • At least five years of Registered Nurse experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain a Police Check
  • Recent aged care or disability setting experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to thoroughly research topics and create a clear, concise written documents
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Sound IT skills and the ability to adapt to a range of software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Drive
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The position is four days (30 hours) per week and is based in our Belrose office, Sydney NSW. Flexible working hours may be considered. Training will be provided. This role requires regular contact with our UK team, outside of Sydney business hours. Some travel will be required for the role on an infrequent basis.
