The Ngangganawili Aboriginal Health Service (NAHS) was established in 1993 as a community controlled Aboriginal corporation and health and medical service to provide affordable and culturally appropriate services to the Indigenous and wider population of Wiluna and surrounding areas.

NAHS plays an important role in the community by providing comprehensive primary health care services, promoting healthy lifestyles, strengthening emotional and social wellbeing, and by providing training and employment opportunities for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in the region.

About the Opportunity

NAHS has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced, suitably qualified and passionate Clinical Practice Manager to join their team on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off fly in, fly out roster with the expectation of providing on-call support throughout.

As the Clinical Practice Manager you will be responsible for coordinating a team of Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, an Emergency Capacity Manager and Paramedic and Medical Administration staff delivering comprehensive and culturally appropriate primary health care services to the local community.

Our ideal candidate will possess a current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, have at least 5 years’ experience in nursing clinical management and demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing a team of multidisciplinary professionals. The occupant must also have a strong interest and working knowledge of Aboriginal primary healthcare services, an understanding of the issues effecting and impacting on the health and well-being of Aboriginal people, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and reside in a remote region.
