About the Role
As a Clinical Psychologist within the service, you will offer one-to-one psychology sessions for consumers using largely cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. The therapy you offer is time-limited (usually no more than 20 sessions), targeted (it is expected that the consumer will work with the therapist on specific treatment goals), present orientated (limited focus on past events unless relevant to future-focused goals) and active (consumer will be expected to try out new ways of coping both within and between sessions).
- Completing assessments, formulation, provide interventions and evaluate outcome with consumers
- Provide evidence based interventions including: CBT, DBT, ACT, SCHEMA
- Co-facilitate and deliver group Psychology based programs.
Classifications for this position will range from Psychologist Grade 2 PK1 – PK4 ($90,812 – $102,757 pro rata per annum)
Your Contribution
- Masters degree OR doctorate in Clinical Psychology and registered with AHPRA
- Experience in providing 1:1 therapy
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
