Community Manager - Registered Nurse

Frontline Health

We service the disability and aged care markets and are expanding to meet out growing demand. This is a key management role, commencing by starting up a home care business unit and leading to an executive position for a high-performer. This position will allow you business unit autonomy where you can solely focus on community healthcare whilst working closely with and reporting to the Operations Manager, with the support of a large corporate home care group.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that business outcomes and quality outcomes are met, along with effectively leading and managing staff to ensure optimum service standards, and successfully leading and developing operational plans for the organisation.

This role will include:
• Lead and manage the operational and financial performance of the program
• Develop effective home care operational plans
• Managing the Home Care program to deliver excellence
• Recruitment for your team of care workers / support workers
• Supporting and overseeing disability and aged care clients
• Maintain and monitor quality of care
• Ensure that risk management frameworks, processes and strategies are implemented and regularly evaluated for their effectiveness
• Maintain currency on key industry business issues and legislation in consultation with respective senior managers

You will be provided with full training including business, financial, marketing and referral networks and NDIS and Age Care compliance training

Essential criteria:
• RN with AHPRA Registration
• A strong commitment to working with frail aged and younger people with disabilities
• Post-graduate qualifications in management, business or a health related area
• Minimum 3 years Aged Care and/or NDIS experience
• Knowledge and the capacity to implement a person-centred planning approach to client services.
• Self motivated, ability to network across all healthcare professionals.
• Sound knowledge of relevant aged care legislation and policies
• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management Systems
• Demonstrated record of successfully managing a team
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding customer service and time management skills
• Current Police Check, WWCC, current valid Driver's Licence & reliable vehicle
