Customer Relations Consultant

Location: Work from home/flexible working available. Office is based in North Ryde, Sydney

Hours: Full time, Permanent. Contract is initially maternity cover until May 2022.

Salary: $85,000 + depending on experience, + Superannuation, + Salary Packaging

The purpose of this position is to focus on relationships with the customer to maximise the impact of the work of the work that the organisation does. To identify and develop new ways to promote and grow the work in line with the strategic plan and business development strategy. To increase the level of income generated through fee-for-service work by: - Building on existing relationships with a range of customers currently utilising services - Exploring and developing new relationships with a range of organisations and customers not currently utilising services - Becoming a pivotal contact point for these customers wishing to use programs and services. - Ensuring the services provided not only meet but ideally exceed the expectations of customers. - Working collaboratively and co-operatively with teams across the organisation to maintain the high-quality delivery of programs.


  • Proactively develop sound working relationships with a range of individuals and organisations from a wide range of sectors including health, residential, primary health care and community aged care
  • Maintain a regular visitation program with new and existing customers to ensure a sound relationship is developed and sustained that enables the organisation to understand and respond to changing needs in a timely way
  • Achieve a level of income from the relationships developed to be determined in consultation with the GM BD and National Relationship Manager
  • Ensure activity with customers is appropriately recorded and maintained to provide current picture of work with customers throughout the business development process.
  • Track progress against monthly KPI targets and report monthly


  • Associates degree in a business-related field, or Bachelor degree in Marketing/Business, Education or a Health related field.
  • Strong relationship building skills and customer service skills
  • Experience in sales and marketing.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and achieve agreed income levels.
  • Superior organisational skills.
  • An empathy and concern for people with dementia, disabilities, their families, carers and the range of other people providing care and services
  • Strong existing relationships with Service Providers within the state desirable
