About the Organisation

Treehouse - Queanbeyan Children’s Special Needs Group (QCSNG) Inc. is an early intervention service for children with additional needs aged 0 to 8 and their families. Based in Queanbeyan, they also run outreach programs in surrounding regional areas, including Bungendore and Captains Flat.

For over 25 years, the Treehouse has been caring for the families and children of the Queanbeyan area by providing a safe place with expert support to families in need. They are a proud, home grown, community organisation staffed and managed by local people; all with a deep personal commitment to children with additional needs and their families.

About the Opportunity

Treehouse is building a beautiful new facility, expanding their small team and creating a centre of excellence, where families with children with disability and developmental delays can come together for education, therapy and inclusive community programs. As such, they now have multiple opportunities for Early Childhood Teachers and Allied Health Professionals. The organisation currently has an opening for two Full-Time and one 0.6FTE staff to join their team in Queanbeyan.

In these pivotal roles, you will work as part of a transdisciplinary team to deliver high quality, accountable, early childhood intervention services to families.

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Teaching, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and/or Physiotherapy and will be registered with your relevant industry association.Experience working with children who have disability and developmental delays and a working knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will be vital, as is a basic knowledge of early childhood, preschool and school systems.

You will love children and be a self-motivated, confident and highly organised professional, you'll be able to effectively manage your time and balance competing priorities.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will enjoy a great above award salary circa $50,000 to $85,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications) plus super and salary sacrifice options.
