About this opportunity

We are an award-winning HR Team for the 2021 Australian HR Awards and Financial Review Best Places to Work.

The HR Advisor will lead and coordinate all HR administration tasks to ensure compliance and quality are maintained to a high standard in accordance with policies and procedures. Working closely with a team of juniors, as well as experienced Business Partners, this is a key role in the effective functioning of the team.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Overseeing the management of compliance across the organisation including criminal history checks, WWCC, NDISWC, AHPRA, CPR, drivers license, and any other requirements for specific roles
  • Completing risk assessments
  • Providing commentary for Executive reporting
  • Analysing leave trends and escalating anomalies
  • Dealing with matters prior to being escalated to HRBP
  • Assisting with investigations
  • Regular reporting to inform senior management and executive decision making
  • Maintaining staff lists and establishment process for reporting and communication
  • Supporting volume in Recruitment or Training divisions as needed
  • Updating HR guidelines and processes as required and communicating changes
  • Supporting Audit activity requirements
  • Administration/implementation of TMS updates and process improvements
  • Supporting API integration of HRIS with rostering and payroll software
  • Providing administrative support to TMS back-end maintenance – form creation and process documentation.

The Preferred Candidate will have:

  • Experience using HRIS systems (ELMO desirable)
  • Intermediate MS Office and Excel skills including data analysis
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of HR best practices
  • Ability to deliver outcomes and work efficiently with competing deadlines.
