IDX Group New Zealand (Ascot Radiology, SRG MRI, Trinity MRI) has various offices throughout Auckland, and are seeking an IT (Information Technology) Support Specialist to join the IDX Group NZ to support the high end and fast passed technology services that is vital in the world of radiology.

About The Role

Reporting to the Group IT Service Delivery Manager for the IDX group, your primary responsibilities will be providing helpdesk and applications support to our Radiologists, Technologists and Administration staff at a local level in for our Auckland services as well as you will frequently be collaborating with other IT professionals within IDX on other IT related projects and initiatives.

While the role is primarily that of IT Level 1 to Level 2 helpdesk support, we are looking for someone who will be able to expand their skill set to participate in special projects with the ability of taking on future roles.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, and highly motivated support professional. You should have a good understanding of ITIL, record keeping and documentation practices, and be able to translate technical details into everyday language. This role is well suited to a good problem solver with a passion for helping people, who is looking for an organisation where they can grow their skills. You will also be familiar with:

  • PC, Apple and MacOS environments
  • Microsoft products like Windows 10, Office 365, Windows Servers and Active Directory
  • Linux, Ubuntu, VMware, Cisco and relative corporate level technologies
  • Monitoring IT infrastructures such as networking, storage, and virtual environments
  • Backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Have knowledge and experience with the latest security trends and practices
