About the Role
Participate in all operational management and support of RIS/PACS/IT solutions within Medical Imaging at SVHM and provide strategic support to the Medical Imaging IT Manager.
- Operation and support of RIS and PACS solutions
- Maintenance, and repair of Medical Imaging Informatic solutions
- Database Management and Reporting
- Education and Support
Classifications for this position will range from AG1-CW5 ($88,415 - $101,691 per annum pro rata) or HS3 - HS25
Your Contribution
- Degree or diploma in health sciences, information technology or related fields.
- Experience in operational aspects of a Medical Imaging department
- Experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) solutions.
- Experience with Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) solutions.
- Experience in Health support – desktop, application, infrastructure and network.
- Experience or exposure to various clinical applications.
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Medical Imaging
St Vincent’s Medical Imaging (MI) provides four comprehensive diagnostic imaging programs across three campus sites.
St. Vincent’s Medical Imaging Department (MID) is a tertiary imaging department providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services to SVHM’s inpatients and outpatients.
St. Vincent’s Private Radiology (SVPR) is a co-located comprehensive private radiology service providing imaging services to St. Vincent Private Hospital, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and private outpatients.
