We are currently looking for a professional and experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly professional staff and perform front desk and administrative support duties. The ideal candidate must be flexible, organised and customer service oriented and work well in both a team and autonomous environment.
Based in Hornsby, we are close to public transport and there is on-site parking.
Duties Include:
- Ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
- Scheduling and organising patient appointments
- Processing patient information and accounts processing
- Liaising with Insurers and Government departments such as Medicare & DVA
- Processing emails and mail
- Conducting follow up requests and making reminder calls for visits
- Greeting patients at reception
- Managing incoming telephone calls
As the suitable candidate, you will have:
- Medical reception/admin experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Experience with Genie Software
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail is extremely important
- Highly developed organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks & meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
