Occupational Therapist - Horsham


  • Full time opportunity, no weekend work, flexible hours
  • Award salary plus superannuation

New role due to growth of needs in the region, this is a good opportunity to work with a Community based caseload providing therapy services to children, teens , adults and aged care with a range of disabilities. You will provide individualised care and interventions, support children and their families participation and process of transition in all community ADLs, including kindergarten, childcare and schools so lots of variety.

Experienced OT 's also have the opportunity to Supervise Grade 1 OT's, assistants, volunteers and students. Paediatric or mental health experience is preferred but not essential.

Selection Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • AHPRA registration ( or pending for new grads)
  • OT experience within a community setting
  • Experience in goal setting, assessment and intervention for children and adults with complex needs
  • Demonstrated experience in family and person-centred models
  • Experience in the preparation and presentation of professional educational material for health professionals, students, education staff and carers
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check
