Great opportunity for Grade 2 Paediatric OT to broaden experience with expanding private allied health practice . Providing community-based therapy to children and teens with a range of disabilities.

Provide individualised care and interventions, support children and families participation and process of transition in all community ADLs, including kindergarten, childcare and schools.

Supervise Grade 1 OT's, assistants, volunteers and students.

Grade 2 OT's with at least 5 years of Occupational Therapy experience, including at least 2 years of paediatric experience may be considered.

Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • AHPRA registration
  • Significant OT experience within a community setting
  • Experience in goal setting, assessment and intervention for children and adults with complex needs
  • Demonstrated experience in family and person-centred models
  • Experience in supervision of Grade 1 OT and undergraduate students
  • Experience in the preparation and presentation of professional educational material for health professionals, students, education staff and carers
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check

Working with people of all ages with any level of disability to meet the needs of the community. providing services to kindergartens, schools, workplace through to residential aged care homes.

Offering flexible hours, family environment and the ability to develop groups and services to meet community needs. Support staff with mentoring, supervision and ongoing professional development.
