The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Scrub Scout Registered Nurse to join an established but growing perioperative department at St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith (SVPCHG). Specialties include Orthopaedics, General, urology, Plastics, gynae, ophthalmology and endoscopy. The right candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering the perioperative nursing care to patients and will assist throughout the operating procedure. This is a fixed term or permanent position for a self-starter who is ready to join a unified and supportive team.

  • A fully furnished 2 bedroom shared accommodation 5 minutes’ walk to the hospital for the first 3 months of your relocation.
  • Full orientation and a supportive environment while you find your feet at SVPCHG.

To be successful for this role you must possess:

  • Current Registered Nurse registration with the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Council.
  • Demonstrated experience in Scrub Scout.
  • Orthopaedic experience is highly desirable.
  • Willing to relocate to Griffith.

Essential requirements

  • In accordance to guidelines set by NSW Health, all SVPHS employees are required to have up to date vaccinations before commencement. It is encouraged that you ensure your vaccinations are current ahead of time as you may be requested to provide documentation at interview stage.
  • Criminal record checks will be conducted and will form part of the selection criteria for this role.

Salary

Rates are paid in accordance with years of service and in alignment to our EBA.
