Are you passionate and committed to improving the lives of older people? We are looking for enthusiastic Personal Care Workers to fill Permanent Part Time and Casual positions. As a Personal Care Worker you will be rewarded each day by caring for our residents and making a positive contribution to their daily lives. This is a busy, varied role where you will provide care and support with daily activities, including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities, etc.
Successful applicants will share a genuine desire to care and assist consumers with a strong person centred care focus and will need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification essential;
- Ability to use computerised clinical management software such as Autumn Care;
- Ability to follow directives as per care plan;
- An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
- An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities;
- Current flu vaccination and National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months).
