Physiotherapist - Ballan


  • Graduate or post-graduate role available
  • Full- or part-time, no weekend work

A great opportunity to provide a varied case load to the community, working with acute and aged care, chronic health condition as part of a dynamic expanding multidisciplinary team.

The purpose of the role is to provide effective and high quality clinical services across a range of settings with individual and group therapy programs. The successful applicant will be required to coordinate, implement and evaluate client-centred therapy programs, assist in patient discharge and facilitate the return to optimum occupational performance.

Situated in a rapidly growing rural community located centrally to three major cities (one hour from Melbourne, 45 minutes from Geelong and 30 minutes from Ballarat), this is a great opportunity with a friendly country appeal, within a well-respected community organisation.

Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and AHPRA
  • Current Victoria driver's license
  • Demonstrated commitment to the concepts of Best Practice
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills to communicate in a variety of settings
  • Sound organisational skills, particularly an ability to set priorities and use time management strategies
  • Demonstrated initiative, confidence and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt in a changing environment
  • High level of computer competency with intermediate abilities in the Microsoft
  • Office suite and other relevant software programs
  • Current national Police Check (renewed every three years)
  • Current Working with Children Check (renewed every five years)
Experience in contemporary chronic conditions models of care and health coaching and person-centred care principles.
