An exciting opportunity has come up for a motivated and dynamic physio to join a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, seeing a broad mix, with a maximum of 12 - 14 patients a day. With a community focus, you will treat a variety of cases ranging from musculoskeletal, sports injuries, post-operative orthopaedics, spinal conditions to work cover, transport accident rehabilitation and some aged care.
As part of the role, you will assist in delivering the transition care program and also provide an outreach visiting service to the regional hospital and community health centres. You will also undertake regular training and professional development to ensure up to date treatment methods are available to patients. The work environment is friendly, supportive and encourages ongoing education with regular in-service and training meetings.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist with a minimum of six-month postgraduate hands-on experience gained in Australia.
Key Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent
- AHPRA registration (no new grads or limited registration)
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Initiative and willingness to grow the practice
- Unwavering desire to provide best quality care to clients
- An interest or qualification in pilates, acupuncture, dry needling, GLA:D training would be desirable although not essential
- Previous private practice or outpatient experience is preferred
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Current Police Check
