Physiotherapist Grade 1 or Grade 2 : Colac


  • Two Physio roles, one FT and one 6 months PT

This is a great six-month part-time opportunity for an experienced Physio to have a change of scenery, and a full-time opportunity for a recent graduate to be mentored and have an awesome all-around experience. Huge variations in caseload where you will see a range of patients of all ages. The workload covers sharing acute in-patients, aged care, outpatients, community and rehabilitation. The role is mainly centre based with a limited home visit service.

You will provide an outstanding level of care to clients, and help them reach their goals and regular supervision of the allied health assistant, staff and students. The successful applicants will deliver best practice Physiotherapy interventions to meet the guidelines of the Australian Association of Physiotherapy and Scope of Practice.

 Key requirements:
  • Approved tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
  • Eligibility for Australian Physiotherapy Association membership
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current Police Check
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Excellent communication skills with a wide range of health professionals and service providers
  • Experience or exposure to facilitating group therapy within community rehabilitation settings
  • Experience or exposure to an acute hospital and/or aged care setting
  • Australian Physiotherapy Association member
  • Energised by working in a rural setting
  • Knowledge of a wide range of health professionals and service providers
