Physiotherapist Grade 1 to Grade 3 - Lakes Entrance


  • Full-time or part-time negotiable
  • Salary between $65,106 - $ 104,442 as per award - subject to experience

An opportunity exists for an experienced or recent graduate Occupational Therapist to join a multi-disciplinary community health centre, located in the beautiful coastal town of Lakes Entrance.

These two positions are ideal for experienced Physiotherapist to work with a dynamic team of physiotherapists in a well-equipped practice with a gym, and access to an aqua therapy facility.

You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based individual and group physiotherapy sessions including assessments and treatments for a range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic complex conditions for outpatients in a safe, professional and ethical manner. The role is primarily based in Lakes Entrance, and you may be required to work at other practice sites.

Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Medicare registration and Provision of Professional Registration Number is required
  • Current AHPRA registration or under supervision with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current physiotherapy practices and outcomes including advanced knowledge in the assessment, treatment and management options for a range of Orthopaedic/musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
  • Demonstrated experience in group facilitation skills
  • An understanding of the principles of self-management
  • Ability to work both independently with initiative, and enthusiastically within a team setting
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, workload management and negotiation
  • Proven ability to liaise with a variety of service providers, professionals and clients both internal and external to our service
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License, Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
Experience or interest in the field of paediatric physiotherapy would prove an additional opportunity to this position

Practice Details:

This community health organisation is a high profile service provider which offers a range of health and community services to the East Gipplsland area. The service provider has sites in Lakes Entrance, Bairnsdale, Bruthen, Metung and Nowa Nowa. Services offered are divided into the following five units with a strong multi-disciplinary approach - Aged and Disability, Clinical and Nursing, Allied Health, Corporate, and Family Youth and Children’s Services.
