Physiotherapist(Adult/Senior) - Mildura

This community based private practice is seeking either new graduate or experienced Physiotherapist to look after predominantly adult and senior cases. This is a perfect opportunity to join a dynamic multi-disciplinary allied health team where your work will focus across clinic, groups, community service delivery and private inpatients. This includes, Rehab, Neurological rehab. Workcover & TAC, Aged care, Falls and balance assessments, equipment prescription, pain assessment and management, pre-employment assessment and training, home visits designing  a program  of  exercises or provide “hands on”  manual therapy  techniques to  get clients  back  to living  their best  life.

Lime  therapy clinic has  a  state-of –the – art gym,  where therapists  can simulate the  client’s  own  gym  for  workout  purposes or  create a  custom  exercise  program designed to  challenge and rehabilitate  each individual to their maximal potential. Our Lime Avenue   gym ,  provides  a  treadmill and  stationary exercise  bike,  free weights,  balance and  stretching  equipment as  well as resistance bands and  graduated exercise balls. It is also large enough to accommodate   several clients for   small group workout  sessions .

Working with all ages and demographics and strong links to disability and aged care sector. Lots of variety in your day and opportunity to be involved in health promotion activities.

For experienced physiotherapist there is clinical leadership and supervision opportunities as well as being a key contact for stakeholders, business development activities and developing service delivery model and resources. You can also tailor your cases to suit your areas of expertise.

Key Selection Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Experience in providing client and family centred evidence based physiotherapy including thorough care planning
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Highly developed problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working with Children's Check, Police check and Victorian drivers licence
In addition Grade 2/senior clinician will need:
  • Post graduate qualifications in a field relevant to Physiotherapy, and/or demonstrated performance at a level which clearly indicates clinical leadership in the field.
  • Demonstrated experience, skills and ability to provide clinical leadership and consultancy in a wide range of physiotherapy streams / areas.
  • Ability to coordinate and provide an effective, efficient high quality physiotherapy service based on clinical prioritisation.
  • Ability to undertake and provide high quality student supervision and teaching, while ensuring optimal clinical service delivery and patient care.
  • Ability to support, develop and supervise grade 1 staff and allied health assistants.
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary patient care team.
  • Demonstration of a high level of communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse range of people at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone and within an interdisciplinary team.
  • A personal approach which is positive, enthusiastic, friendly and helpful
  • Knowledge of research methodologies and clinical evaluation processes (in particular, outcome measurement, analysis and reporting.)
  • Understanding of the needs of individuals with a disability and / or culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
