The Foot & Ankle Clinic is a Podiatry practice that has been committed to providing the highest quality foot care to the Gippsland community for over 20 years. They are part of the Healthia network of more than 200+ podiatrists with over 90+ locations across Australia. 

They are seeking experienced or new graduate podiatrists to join their friendly and professional teams across their Traralgon and Moe practices..

Working with a mixed clientele from varies demographics and chronic issue and conditions you will provide skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services for foot and lower limb concerns. Covering full range of podiatric skills including; nail surgery, use of local anaesthesia, Doppler, ultrasound, biomechanical evaluation using GaitScan technology, neutral and 3D casting, orthoses prescription and modification, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy, Laser treatment, proficiency in paediatrics and sports medicine.

You will be working alongside highly experienced podiatrists, renowned Foot & Ankle Surgeon Mr. Mark Gilheany in Traralgon and supported by retail and admin assistants.

Part of this role will also be to increase the patient database by assisting with self-promotion to potentially bring in new clients, referrals and/or sporting organisations. Regular workshops and a study allowance mean there is no shortage of opportunity to upskill in this position and there is also a team social club and fun days out!

For new and recent graduates, there is a structured graduate year consisting of facilitated learning modules, experienced mentors and the latest technology and research to ensure the very best care for their patients. In addition, their education program provides the foundation for career progression within the organisation and career specialisation and clinic ownership opportunities.

Below is a brief overview of the new graduate training:

3 DAY INTENSIVE WORKSHOP
Empowers you to become a proficient practitioner; whilst providing further education and a career pathway within the Podiatric field.

12 WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM
12 week education program will consist of a weekly 2 hour sessions hosted by the Facilitator with guest speakers.

BASIC CLINICAL LOG
The basic clinical log is a simple method for the New Graduate (and mentor) to track critical clinical cases that are fundamental for a Podiatrist.

CASE STUDY REVIEW + ONGOING MENTOR
Case Conference with Mentor and Clinical Advisor.

Key Essential Criteria: (Please address this in a cover letter)
  • Bachelor of Podiatry or similar qualification
  • Registration with AHPRA and Australian Podiatry Association
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License, Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
  • Be an Experienced or New Graduate Podiatrist who is ambitious, hardworking, team focused and have great people skills, professional presentation and fantastic communication.
