Trinity MRI part of the Integral Diagnostics group is New Zealand’s only imaging facility dedicated to Brain, Spine and Neurovascular imaging. Our staff is sub-specialty trained, and our equipment has been tailored to ensure the highest quality images. All our studies are double-read by Neuroradiologists. We are committed to providing accurate, timely reports.

THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Receptionist to join our team as a Practice Assistant on a part time basis (approx. 25 hours per week). With Radiology experience being highly regarded but not essential, you will join a patient-focused team who provide a high level of service to our patients and referrers. As a specialist Neuroradiology practice, we require an individual with maturity, empathy and understanding when liaising with our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring prompt and effective response to patient bookings and enquiries
  • Notifying patients of requirements prior to their visit
  • Notifying technical staff of patient arrival
  • Providing accurate billing to patients prior to departure
  • Ensuring patient reports are typed and dispatched to the correct location
  • Ensuring practice and clerical appearance standards are maintained
  • Liaising with technical and support staff regarding booked services
  • Maintaining good relationships with referring doctors and their staff

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Health care / medical reception experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong customer centric approach
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all billing policies and procedures
  • Aptitude to use your initiative and take ownership of the front desk / reception domain
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent accuracy, organisation and time management skills
  • Professional personal presentation

This is a busy part time role (approx. 25 hours per week) working in our state of the art facility which is open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 8.00pm. .
