THE ROLE
As the Practice Manager, you will be integral and drive our client's medical centre operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a supportive & productive environment for the team and patients. You will have the opportunity to shape the practice's future, implement innovative solutions, contribute to the overall patient experience, making your mark & impacting the company.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure the practice runs efficiently and effectively. Manage scheduling, staffing, and patient flow to optimise productivity and service quality.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of administrative and support staff as well as doctors. Foster a positive work culture, promote professional development, and address any performance issues promptly.
- Coherent in budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation. Implement cost effective measures without compromising the quality of care.
- Enhance patient satisfaction by streamlining appointment processes, handling patient complaints with empathy, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Ensure the practice adheres to all healthcare regulations and standards. Manage risk assessments, maintain confidentiality, and implement best practices for safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement strategic plans aimed at improving practice operations, expanding services, and achieving the organisations goals.
THE ESSENTIALS
- Previous experience with GP's and Medicare Numbers
- Proven experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of medical office procedures and healthcare regulations
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a dynamic insight to problem solving
- Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
