Work within a great friendly environment with 6 Doctors, a team of nurses and practice manager where you will be well supported and made to feel part of the team. As a practice nurse you will provide high quality nursing services according to best practice standards, to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the clinic and optimal patient care.
You will care for a varied patient demographic which is typical for a rural community, with high evidence of chronic disease, co-morbidity and mainly elderly with some young families from all different cultures.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Immunisations
- Health Assessments, plus 45-49 year olds Health checks
- GP Management Plans & Team Care Arrangements
- Diabetes Annual Cycle of Care
- Asthma Cycle of Care
- Antenatal care
- Acrreditation
- Sterlisation and general duties as directed
- Tertiary Division 1 qualifications with current AHPRA registration
- Extensive experience and knowledge in general practice nursing, Community nursing and be a qualified nurse immuniser
- Understanding of the MBS – especially in relation to Chronic Disease & Primary Care Nurse item numbers.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all ages and social groups.
- Excellent organisation, and time management skills, ability to work to deadlines.

- Permanent residency- no students or visa sponsorship
