Due to overwhelming demand for psychological services, this is an opportunity for a General Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social
Worker or Mental Health Accredited Occupational Therapist to work with all walks of life, from children through to adults of all ages and at all stages of their life.

In this role you will provide a range of psychological therapeutic interventions and clinical assessments and assist people as private patients and under various funding sources,
such as, Medicare, Workcover (Vic and NSW), NDIS, DVA and EAP.
You will liaise with general practitioners regarding patient progress to facilitate the provision of coordinated clinical care and treatment for referred clients. Working with a holistic approach in consulting, and collaborating with colleagues to provide optimal care in clinic or based in the home.

Working with another registered Psychologist you have the flexibility to shape your workload whilst having full peer support and reception support.

Key Selection Criteria : Please address this in a cover letter
  • Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Psychology , Social Work, OT or equivalent
  • Full registration with AHPRA and/or appropriate governing body
  • Accredited mental health registration
  • Demonstrate a client focussed process service provision with genuine empathy
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated experience in providing clinical assessment and psycho-therapeutic interventions
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging and working effectively with a diverse target group, including individuals and families.
  • Ability to maintain case records and ensure all documentation is comprehensive, factual and complies with relevant legislation and professional guidelines and organisational policies
  • High level of written communication skills, including report writing
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and standards through continuing medical education, professional development, including having a working knowledge of legislation and standards of psychology practice
