About the opportunity  
Our multi disciplinary Allied health team has been so impactful that we are in need of another Psychologist, as we continue to invest in expanding our services.

Afford has a focus on professional development, collaboration across the disciplines and the contribution of ideas and knowledge to the wider team.

You will have the autonomy to organise and manage your own case load to be as effective and efficient as possible, with a focus on helping our clients achieve their goals. Some to the core activities you will undertake include;
  • Development and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans
  • Provide psychological intervention and behaviour support
  • Conduct psychometric, behavioural and functional assessments.
  • Effective completion of reports
  • Ensuring we work toward meeting client goals within the NDIS plans.

About the candidate
Our Allied Health team are a valued part of our who we are and how we help our clients get the most out of their lives. We are looking for you to have a genuine desire to work in disabilities and be passionate about making a difference. As this is an autonomous role within a supportive team we are looking for the following skills and experience;
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Current membership with the Psychology Board of Australia - highly recommended
  • Ability to work effectively and independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to interact with all key stakeholders associated with this position
  • MUST have an interest within disability / behavioural management
  • Ability to work effectively with people with a disability who have a range of functional abilities as well as complex needs
  • Willingness to travel to various locations in Sydney to see clients
