About the Opportunity

Due to an increased demand for our services, Therapy Pro currently has opportunities for an experienced Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker to join our team in Ipswich. Therapy Pro offers genuine work-from-home roles, flexible hours and the option to work via telehealth and/or travelling to local clients.

You will be working a highly diverse caseload including adults, children and youth encompassing (but not limited to) issues affecting:

• Mental Health;
• learning and memory;
• personality and behaviour;
• child development; and
• interpersonal relationships.

You will need to draw upon your expertise to devise evidence-based practices and strategies to effect positive change.

Initially, your role will predominantly consist of clients referred under a Mental Health Care Plan, delivering services under our Primary Health Care contract. After your first six months, you will also work with NDIS clients in the community.

Who are we Looking For?

To be considered, you must be a qualified Psychologist with current AHPRA general or endorsed registration, or an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.

Given the mobile nature of the role, it is essential that you are confident in your ability to work autonomously and make clinical decisions on your own.  As you will be working from home, you will have the flexibility to manage your workload to fit your lifestyle!

You will be dealing with a range of complexities and must be prepared and open to support clients with varying needs and abilities. Strong interpersonal skills will be key to your success.

Please note: You must hold or be willing to obtain a current NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencing. Regular daytime travel is a requirement of the role - candidates must have a full, unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence and reliable access to a registered, fully insured vehicle.
