Under the direct supervision of an experienced Physiotherapist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of physiotherapy services appropriate to the needs of the Flinders & Upper North communities. To achieve this, you will work as a member of the Allied Health Team or Child Health and Development Team and utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. Working across acute, outpatient and community settings, you will provide individual, group and population health services targeting at-risk and priority clients and groups within the community, in accordance with service eligibility and prioritisation criteria. You will support clients through the patient journey, providing effective assessment, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care and prompt follow-up.

With experience in providing straightforward physiotherapy services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities, you will be capable of maintaining your own caseload and ensuring the accurate documentation and reporting of assessments, review, referrals and update of own client files. You will be committed to applying client-centred practice and community engagement principles in the provision of services, ensuring clients are meaningfully involved in all aspects of their care.

The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the flexible working arrangements for this role.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
