Rehabilitation Consultant, South West WA

Talent Quarter are delighted to be assisting our workplace rehabilitation client who are recruiting for an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to join them on a permanent basis in the beautiful South West of WA. The rehabilitation consultant can be based in either Bunbury or Busselton.

The company

You will be joining a workplace rehabilitation provider who provides return to work assistance for Workers’ Compensation, Compulsory Third Party and Life Insurance claims.

Their rehabilitation consultants assist their clients who have sustained an injury or illness who are under a compensation scheme.

The role

As the Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be delivering workplace rehabilitation services to your caseload of clients who are presenting with a wide range of injuries/conditions across a variety of different industries.

The duties and responsibilities of the Rehabilitation Consultant will include, but not be limited to:

• Completing assessments and any relevant reporting which will include the initial assessment, on the worksite and the ergonomic assessments
• Developing and monitoring Return to Work Programs and upgrading when required in line with medical advice
• Completing case notes, reports, documentation and programs in line with the company standards and procedures
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and referrers
• Liaising with referrers and building up a larger caseload as your time within the role increases

About you

In order to be considered for the role of Rehabilitation Consultant, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Social Worker or a qualified Rehabilitation Consultant
• Current registration with relevant professional body
• Current drivers licence
• Excellent communication skills, time management and organisational skills
• Full Australian working rights
