Summary

The Position
Our client is looking for a General Practitioner who holds General Registration or FRACGP who has an interest in working in an Aboriginal Medical Service.

You will be offered -
* Annual salary of $180,000 + super
* 60% of Medicare billings – amount in excess of $18,000 per month
* Relocation costs up to $10,000
* Salary sacrifice of $15,900 per annum
* Accommodation – partly furnished, air-conditioned and electricity of up to $1200 per year.
* Vehicle – work and personal use, maintenance, registration and insurance (personal use up to 10,000kms)
* Monday to Friday – no after hours or weekend work
* Uniforms provided
* Participation in the monthly clinicians group meeting with ongoing support from experience team of Doctors and Nurses

The Location
Located only 200 km from Brisbane, this region is a vibrant ‘go ahead’ rural community with a town population of approximately 12,000 with a further 5,000 residing in the rural district. Being so close to Toowoomba, Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts makes a visit to rural Australia an easy drive. The town has excellent education facilities available, with childcare, preschools as well as Catholic, Christian and state primary and high schools.

Essential Criteria
* Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRRM
* Minimum general registration with AHPRA
* Doctors subject to section 19ab are welcome to apply
* Location is eligible for doctor’s subject to section 19aa

Service overview
The clinic is open Monday to Friday with over 1,550 active patients living in and around the town. The clinic has a professional team of both full and part time providers. The team consists of – General Practitioners, Clinical Manager, Registered Nurses, Chronic Disease Nurse, Allied Health Professionals, Aboriginal Health Worker, Administration staff, Medicare officer and transport officer.
