Sonographer - Fixed-term contract

Sonographer – Rockingham, WA – 3 month’s fixed term contract

Talent Quarter are delighted to be supporting our client in Rockingham, WA to recruit for a Sonographer to join their team on a 3-months’ fixed term contract.

The company

You will be joining the medical imaging department within a hospital setting who provides a range of diagnostic and interventional services to their clients. You will providing these services to those patients referred from the emergency department, wards, outpatient clinics, general practitioners and private medical consultants.

The role

The successful Sonographer will be responsible for promoting patient-centred care through the provision of clinical excellence and providing excellent patient experience.

In addition to this, daily duties will also include:

• Undertake all routine and complex ultrasound examinations and assessments including obstetrics, gynaecology, basic vascular and MSK cases
• Adhering to imaging guidelines at all times
• Selectively recording relevant normal and abnormal structures in accordance with imaging guidelines alongside interacting with your patient during the ultrasound examination

About you

To be considered for the role, you will be an experienced Sonographer with a tertiary degree in a relevant field along with regulatory membership and 2 years’ experience of working as a Sonographer.

In addition, you will also have:

• Registered with Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• National Police Check
• Excellent organisational skills
