This is a great opportunity to work in a growing, dynamic allied health practice where you can shape the position to suit your skills and passion. Managing a varied caseload and working with all demographics from children to adults to plan, deliver and evaluate Speech Pathology services.

Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to achieve desired health outcomes for patients. Providing a very high support standard of Speech Pathology service provision and work within the policies and procedures of the organisation. Offering assessments and interventions which can take place in individual's homes, communities, places of learning, place of employment or in the practice.

Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent.
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current Victorian Drivers License.
  • Current police check.
  • Currently Working with Children Check.
  • Significant experience as a Speech Pathologist in a community setting.
  • Significant experience with goal setting, assessment and intervention with children, adolescents and adults with complex needs.
  • Experience working with a family-centred model.
  • Experience in supervision of Grade 1 Speech Pathology staff and undergraduate students.
  • Experience in the preparation and presentation of professional educational material for health professionals, students, education staff, and carers.
  • Ability to manage complaints and conflict.
Practice Details:
Working for this small rural hospital and community health centre located in Horsham on the Fitzroy River that provides urgent care, acute and residential aged care and a range of primary care and allied care services to the local farming community and surrounding rural towns.
