Working across a highly diverse caseload this role offers the chance to help children and adults improve their language and voice skills, as well assist those with swallowing difficulties. You will play an important part in acute care and take an active role in helping discharge plans to enable your clients return home and reach their goals.

Working with your clients and their families to maximise well-being and engaging with the community to support growth and accessibility for speech therapy services and programs.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology
  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  •  Ability to plan, implement and evaluate a range of speech therapy person centered programs
  • Sound written and computer skills, including the ability to develop quality reports within designated time frames
  • Highly developed Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines
  • Current employee police check (dated within 12 months of commencement date)
  • Current employee Working with Children’s check
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Must provide current evidence of immunisation history and/or serology results
Warracknabeal is a rural town in the Wimmera region north-west Victoria only 30 minutes from the large regional centre of Horsham, easy access to the coast and Geelong.
