About the Organisation

Illawarra Speech Pathology (ISP) is an independent, family owned and operated practice delivering comprehensive Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy services across the Illawarra region from two locations; Warilla and Corrimal. ISP's approach to therapy is highly individualised and client-centred, focusing on the client's unique strengths to maximise their opportunity to communicate successfully and gain more independence in their everyday lives.

About the Opportunities

Due to this growth, ISP now has multiple opportunities for passionate and dedicated allied health professionals to join their team. Ideally, these positions will be offered on a full-time basis, however ISP is also open to discussing part-time arrangements with the successful candidates if this is preferred.

Speech Pathologists

There are 2 x opportunities available for Speech Pathologists to split their time between the Warilla and Corrimal practices (approximately 4 days per week and 1 day per week respectively). In these roles you will primarily be responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of discipline-specific clinical services across the local area, including school and home visits. More specifically, you will provide diagnostic assessment and management of disorders of communication and swallowing through direct intervention, education, consultancy and advocacy or a combination of these approaches.

Occupational Therapists

There are 2 x opportunities available for Occupational Therapists. These are mobile, community-based roles that will see you working with a diverse caseload of people of all ages and abilities, with a strong focus on genuine capacity building with individuals. As you will spend the majority of your time driving to clients, you will need to have a full, unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence with reliable access to a registered, fully insured vehicle, to be considered for this position. All travel related expenses will be reimbursed.
