Speech Therapist, Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist

Speech Therapist
This position provides a culturally appropriate and holistic Speech Therapy service to support the care and education needs of Aboriginal children and their families in the Goldfields. The Speech Therapist will assess children’s language and speech needs, build strong communication and language skills and provide practical guidance and supports for parents that can eb implemented in the home.
 
The Speech Therapist will form part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high-quality early intervention service to the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community of the Goldfields.


Occupational Therapist
This position provides a culturally appropriate Occupational Therapy service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) community of the Goldfields region, including assessment, treatment and evaluation of clients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
 
The Occupational Therapist provides specialised assessment, environmental modifications (home, school and work), intervention or therapy such as hand therapy, driver rehabilitation; health promotion and community development activities.


Physiotherapist
This position provides a culturally appropriate Physiotherapy service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) community of the Goldfields region, including assessment, treatment and evaluation of clients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
 
The Physiotherapist provides specialised assessment, health promotion and community development activities.


All positions may require you to travel on Outreach as required.
