The Role
We are seeking an experienced Theatre Technician (Grade 2 or Grade 3) to work on a full-time permanent position in our Day Procedure Centre. Specialities covered in our Day Procedure Centre include Urology, Gynaecology, Colorectal, Ophthamology, Plastics, Dental and Fascio-maxillary.
The successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual with initiative and energy to work and develop in this fast-paced environment. We offer a supportive and challenging environment where the team work closely to achieve best patient outcomes and high standards of care.
- Experience in the perioperative setting as a Theatre Technician
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistant (Operating Theatre Technician)
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to take direction
- Sound communication skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Ability to work within the mission and values of the organisation
