Youth Access Clinician – Drive-in Drive Out, Northam, WA
Talent Quarter are proud to be supporting our long-standing client in WA to recruit for a Youth Access Clinician to join their team on a part-time permanent basis.

You will be joining a company that has been providing a range of mental health services for young people across WA for the last 30 years. Their philosophy is that young peoples mental health should not get in the way of them living their life to the fullest and to be who they want to be.
They champion the mental health needs of their clients across WA and support them to thrive in their community to achieve all they want to achieve.
The role
The successful Youth Access Clinician will be responsible for single session counselling and to provide interventions to young people who access their mental health services. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team to support young people and their families/carers and refer on to further services within the community.
In addition to this, daily duties will also include:
- Provide Psycho-Social assessment and intervention
- Triaging new referrals
- Providing brief interventions to young people in the centre and in other community organisations
- Act as the interim holder of the young person’s case until this is allocated to another service
- Assessing the ongoing mental status and risk levels of those within your care
- Liaising with families, carers, other agencies and the multi-disciplinary team
As the Youth Access Clinician you will also recieve the following benefits:
- Part-time role of either 0.6 or 0.8 FTE
- Drive-in Drive-out of Northam with accommodation provided free of charge
- Living away from home allowance of $49 per day
About you
To be considered for the role, you will be an experienced Youth Access Clinician with a tertiary degree in a relevant field along with regulatory membership.
In addition, you will also have:
- Tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Occupational Therapy
- Be registered with AASW or AHPRA, depending on your degree
- WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Excellent organisational skills
