Certificate IV in Home and Community Care

The Certificate IV in Home and Community Care will build on your knowledge and skills needed to provide quality aged care service. Understand and explore the attitudes and values that will help you extend the range of duties required for employment in the community and/or residential care systems.

This qualification requires an advanced level of communication skills. Physical fitness will be required to be able to bear a significant amount of weight when transferring physically dependent clients.
Financial support options may be available.
Completion of or current participant in Certificate III in Aged Care is required. People from non-English speaking backgrounds must have completed Certificate III in Spoken and Written English (CSWE).
A Certificate III in Aged care or Home and Community Care and current First Aid Certificate is also required.
