Whether you are in the community or an institutional setting the skills required for Basic CPR are the same and include ensuring your personal safety and calling for assistance, rapidly identifying cardiac arrest, commencing CPR and early defibrillation. This course will provide you with the knowledge to ensure you are confident to approach the patient with suspected cardiac arrest, begin Basic CPR and attach and use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

Course Description

The course is presented beginning with an eTutorial introducing the procedure of Basic CPR and is followed by an interactive case scenario that allows you to apply the theory to the practical care of an arrest victim. A final quiz allows you to assess your mastery of the topic.
