Duration: 6 weeks, 4pm - 8.15 pm, full-time study, 20 hours per week

Requirements: IELTS 5.5 with a Minimum IELTS 5 or equivalent. Please book for a pre-test.

COURSE CONTENT
The course has a practical focus on developing culturally and linguistically appropriate vocabulary, sentence structure, communicative functions including body language and appropriate professional courtesies in the context of professional interactions. In addition, skills in interpreting writtenand comprehending spoken English in the health setting will be covered.

OET STUDENTS
For students preparing for the OET, the course offers relevant test practice in all four skill areas – speaking, listening, reading and writing – using role plays and other assessment appropriate for the specific OET requirements.To lay the foundation for this, preparation is given in test-taking skills including analysis of questions, and skills to meet OET criteria, such as grammar and summarizing data.
