The University of Queensland School of Nursing and Midwifery isbased across several sties – these include nine Clinical Schools where undergraduate students carry out the majority of their education. We are fortunate to have our School based at the UQ Ipswich Campus, UQ Herston Campus and in collaboration with Blue Care, our School Research Centre based at Toowong.
We offer a flexible and diverse range of undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and research programs.
Much of our undergraduate teaching is conducted in our partner teaching hospitals or Clinical Schools located throughout south east Queensland.
We encouragegraduates from our Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Midwifery and Dual Degree programsto undertake and complete an Honours year.
Our postgraduate programs offer a flexible external method of study, supporting students to create a work, family, study, life balance with all programs offered online.
If you choose to undertake research with the School of Nursing and Midwifery, you will have access to a wide range of multi-disciplinary advisory teams drawn from experts in other UQ Schools, Faculties, Research Centres, and the School of Nursing and Midwifery partner organisations.
