About the Role
You are accountable for providing clerical support to the Annual Influenza Vaccination Campaign & the Infection Prevention & Control Team (IPC). The Administration Assistant will be involved in administration duties for the team, clinic organisation, offsite bookings, email box management. The Administration Assistant will actively participate in the achievement of Hospital objectives whilst ensuring patient confidentially is preserved at all times.
- Data entry and maintaining data from the Flu Vaccination Campaign & the IPC Team.
- Assists in the booking of clinics
- Participates in identifying and implementing appropriate interventions to meet best practice
- Support fellow team members in running effective vaccination clinic
Classifications for this position will range from HS1 - HS17 ($58,442.80 - $64,610.00) per annum, pro rata.
Your Contribution- Previous administration experience in a health setting
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office application
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work autonomously & communicate effectively, with patients and staff at all levels

About Infection Prevention and Control
The Infection Prevention & Control service has responsibility across all campuses of St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. The department has a crucial role in targeted surveillance in high-risk areas, identifying infection clusters, monitoring trends, managing outbreaks, managing occupational exposures, providing formal and informal staff education. You will be primarily located at the Fitzroy campus.
