About the Role

An exciting opportunity currently exists to join the administrative team at the St Vincent’s Mental Health department. This position plays a key role in providing administrative support to the CAT and HOPE team. You will work with both administrative and clinical staff to ensure effective and efficient operationalisation of all day-to-day administrative functions of the department. The administrative assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring and maintaining workflow across the site. As part of the role you will:

  • Play a key role in providing administrative support for the clinical workforce
  • Act as a front line contact for the Service
  • Ensure that legislative, statistical and documentation requirements are adhered to



The classification for this position will be YC89 ($72,269 per annum pro rata)

About the Mental Health Team

St. Vincent’s Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara. The CAT teams provides a support service for consumers experience acute mental health problems and can be managed in the community setting
