Anaesthetic Technician or RNAA

This is a busy role needing a good understanding of operating theatres in New Zealand. As such, CAP graduates will not be considered.

What you have to do
• Provide safe anaesthesia to patients
• Provide clinical and technical assistant to the anaesthetist
• Plan care for each patient in line with their ethnicity, cultural and spiritual needs
• Co-ordinate documentation to ensure accurate recording of assessment, activities and instructions

Skills and Experience
• Must be Certified Anaesthetic Technician with Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand or RN with a minimum of 2 years’ dedicated Anaesthetic experience in New Zealand
• Demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and practice
• Excellent relationship and communication skills
• A can do attitude with a quality focus and a commitment to delivering best practice patient care
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
