Anaesthetic Technician

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity in a prime Central Auckland location for an Anaesthetic Technician wishing to work in a private hospital space. You'll provide high-quality clinical care, working Monday to Friday (occasional weekend lists) with the flexibility to choose your FTE, allowing for a better work/life balance. You'll be involved in both theatre and ward settings having access to excellent education, new qualifications and be able to keep up your cannulation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and prepare the anaesthetic environment within the perioperative setting
• Assist in all phases of anaesthesia
• Respond effectively to critical situations
• Communicate clearly across a multidisciplinary team
• Provide exceptional patient-centered care throughout all stages of surgical intervention

Skills & Experience:
• NZ registered Anaesthetic Technician
• Strong communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
• Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Resilient and able to perform well under pressure in high-stress environments
• Flexibility to work additional hours if needed
