We are a 20-bed unit where we offer acute care services to patients who are admitted from the community or our Emergency Department. Our approach is multidisciplinary, and we prioritise close collaboration with patients and their families to ensure that we achieve agreed-upon outcomes. We provide services that cater to a range of acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions, and we offer patients personalised attention that is tailored to their specific needs. Our team of experienced specialists, physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals provide specialist medical services, including diagnostics, observation, consultation, treatment, complex discharge planning, rehabilitation referral, and supported aged-care placement.

The Role
The Associate Nurse Manager is responsible for providing leadership and operational direction to the 3 West team by leveraging their clinical knowledge and management skills. The Associate Nurse Manager is accountable for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care within their defined scope of practice, including outcomes of patient delivery, quality and safety, professional development of staff, and efficient management of human, financial, and material resources.

Working in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, the Associate Nurse Manager fosters a culture of continuous improvement and ensures that the clinical services systems are in place to provide the right care, to the right patient, at the right time, in the right place, and with the right skill for the right cost.

Furthermore, the Associate Nurse Manager exemplifies Cabrini's mission, values, and vision while demonstrating the values of compassion, integrity, courage, and respect.
